Reflexology is a treatment based on the principle that there are areas and points on the feet that map via the nervous system to corresponding parts of the body. When pressure is applied to these areas and points it stimulates the movement of energy along the nerve channels, and helps to restore balance in the whole body.

It is a wonderful relaxing treatment, which can help balance overall wellbeing or address specific problems. Spend 10 minutes relaxing your feet in a soothing foot soak and then rest on heated therapy couch to receive your reflexology treatment.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. The treatment is given by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

The method of receiving Reiki is simple. The client remains clothed and lies on a couch or sits on a chair and relaxes. The practitioner gently places their hands in a series of non-intrusive positions on or near the body. There is no massage or manipulation.

Clients may or may not feel sensations during a Reiki treatment. Benefits reported by recipients include deep relaxation promoting a calm, peaceful sense of well being on all levels. Some people feel sensations of heat, tingling, or experience seeing colours, whilst others can have an emotional response.
